Assignment: Slow Shutter Speed
Subject: People All three pictures were taken with different slow shutter methods to have three different effects. The first photo is a photo of my mother driving at night. The focus of the image is not at the person, but at the view out of the window. The rays of right in the window are street lights passing by. The slow shutter speed turns the light into fog and creates a sci-fi feeling. The photo looks more like time travelling than just a person driving. I took this picture sitting still and just let the shaking of the car do the trick. The second photo is a photo of Grace walking while concentrating on her photos. I took this accidentally, but turned out to like it a lot and decided to keep it. The cool color gives it a refreshing look. I took this picture walking with her, so the subject is clear in the picture while the background is blury. The third photo is shot with the motion of turning the camera when shooting, making the background have a circular motion while the subject is mostly sharp. It creates the feeling of travelling through time and makes viewers focus more on the subject. I edited this photo to have a more colorful background, making it look more refreshing.
